ABOUT ME

My name is Hamza Memon and I am an aspiring wildlife and nature photographer. By profession, I am an engineer and currently in medical school to obtain my Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. I have lived in 3 different continents - Asia, Africa and North America. Diversity and adaptation is something that I have learned as I grew up moving from one place to another. That is one of the reasons that has attracted me to nature. The diversity that exists in nature is overwhelming and breath-taking. Each organism is beautifully adapted to the environment they reside in. My goal is to capture moments of nature that are overlooked on a daily basis and bring them to attention to increase their appreciation.

WHY PHOTOGRAPHY

MyImage.jpeg

What has inspired me the most to pursue wildlife and nature photography is the beauty and mystery it holds. Actions of each organism are truly remarkable and mysterious. For example, why does a bird decide to perch at a specific branch for a few seconds the fly away? or why does a bird decides to fly away at that specific time? I believe that there is beauty hidden in the simplest of things that we need to understand and appreciate. Photography for me is a tool to understand and appreciate the different life forms around me and show others the same beauty that resonates in each ounce of nature.
